There's nothing quite like documenting the tender connections and sweet snuggles of a newborn baby especially when it is your best friend’s first baby! We prayed along side Cara and Casey for this darling girl and now that she has arrived earth-side I can’t help but get emotional seeing them as new parents!

My deepest desire for a newborn sessions is to approach the session in an organic interaction of welcoming the most precious gift into your life. You might ask me how that looks like in real life and I am so happy you ask!

I like to give 2-3 hours of coverage where I come to asses the light of each room , allow you to pick through the carefully crafted outfits I chose to bring along, then we start into the session in a slow methodical way.
Rooms I love to use are: living room, parent’s bedroom, Nursery, Sunroom, and additional rooms that have good lighting situations.
We slowly move through out the house with capturing full family snuggles while playing little games, mama + baby, Daddy + baby, Siblings + baby, and baby individual shots. Always leaving room for mama to feed baby and having diaper changes if needed.
If pets are a part of the family I love incorporating them in a little as well!
Plus a new additional aspect that I want to add onto this 2024 year is a 2 minute video representing Super 8 mm vibes where sometimes movement just needs its place in the lime light!

With a keen eye for detail and a passion for preserving the fleeting moments, I strive to deliver a collection of timeless images that will be true mementos!
